TÜV Austria recently certified Magic’s g-pad’s compostability.

The super absorbent biodegradable and compostable pad had already passed all biodegradation and compostability tests several months ago. The OK Compost Industrial certification is the achievement in the project in which Magic believed and invested in recent years, a process of continuous innovation according to the principles of the circular economy.

It started with the patenting of Spongel (compostable super-absorbent powder), was followed by Airgel g-grade (compostable high-absorbent airlaid) and finished with g-pad, conceived and developed so that at the end of its lifecycle it can be disposed with household organic waste for industrial composting.

The application of a compostable absorbent pad in the packaging of fresh packaged food simplifies consumers’ experience and helps in making waste recycling easier, fairer and more responsible.
